Kawai K-300 – the classic upright with an even fuller tone

The Kawai K-300 in black polish is the successor to the widely awarded K-3, showing just how much a proven piano can still be improved. For beginners, returning players and ambitious hobby pianists alike, it delivers a touch and a sound usually found only in higher price ranges – built by one of Japan's most respected piano makers.

Precise touch thanks to the Millennium III action

At the heart of the K-300 is the Millennium III action, with acrylic/phenol key surfaces and mahogany-core hammers with underfelt. Extended keys provide even, sensitive control from the softest pianissimo to the strongest forte – ideal for learning expression and dynamics from the very start.

Full, round tone from a reinforced construction

The wooden frame has been extended to 5 back posts, and the cast-iron plate is fixed even more firmly to the frame with 2 plate support screws. Combined with the solid, tapered spruce soundboard (1.39 m², 11 ribs), the result is a rich, round tone that carries even in larger rooms.

Your benefits at a glance:

• Precise touch: Millennium III action with extended keys for fine dynamic control.
• Full concert-grade tone: solid spruce soundboard and reinforced frame.
• Everyday-friendly: double castors for easy moving and a slow-close fallboard for extra safety.
• Balanced volume: tone spreader under the keybed for more even sound projection.
• Built to last: premium materials such as mahogany hammer cores for lasting tone quality.
