TransAcoustic TA3: play acoustically, listen digitally whenever you like

In TransAcoustic mode, the hammers no longer strike the strings. Non-contact optical and articulation sensors beneath each key capture the depth, speed and timing of your touch and send that information to the sound generator. The silencing pedal lets you switch effortlessly between the full acoustic sound and digital playback through headphones or the instrument itself, ideal for practising late in the evening without giving up an authentic acoustic touch.

CFX sampling and 256-note polyphony for genuine concert grand tone

Tone generation is based on binaural Yamaha CFX sampling with string resonance effect, modelled on Yamaha's flagship concert grand. With 256-note polyphony, 19 preset voices, plus 480 XG voices and 12 drum/SFX kits for song playback, you have an exceptionally versatile sound palette at your fingertips.
