Powerful Sound from a Solid Soundboard and a Well-Engineered Action

Together with the B-Series Special hammer heads, the solid spruce soundboard produces a warm, carrying tone with long sustain. The V-Pro frame construction with 5 back posts keeps the instrument tuning-stable even during powerful playing. The 88 keys, with white keytops in synthetic resin and black keytops in phenolic resin, offer a pleasant, grippy touch for years to come.

TC3 TransAcoustic: Digital Variety from the Real Piano Body

The TC3 system uses the soundboard of your B30 itself as a resonating body: two transducers set it in vibration and let binaurally sampled sounds of the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial, with 256-note polyphony, be heard entirely without external speakers. Via Bluetooth Audio/MIDI you can connect a smartphone or tablet to play along with backing tracks or to play back music directly through the piano body.
