TransAcoustic TA3: Play Acoustically, Listen Digitally Whenever You Like

In TransAcoustic mode the hammers no longer strike the strings. Contactless optical and articulation sensors beneath every key capture the depth, speed and timing of your touch and pass them on to the tone generation. Using the silencing pedal you switch effortlessly between the full acoustic sound and digital playback through headphones or the instrument – ideal for practising late in the evening without giving up an acoustic playing feel.

CFX Sampling and 256-Note Polyphony for Pure Concert Grand Sound

The tone generation is based on binaural Yamaha CFX sampling including a string resonance effect – modelled on Yamaha's top-class concert grand piano. With 256-note polyphony, 19 preset voices as well as 480 XG voices and 12 drum/SFX kits for song playback, you have an exceptionally versatile range of sounds at your disposal.
