At the centre of the drum sits a bass note, surrounded by eight tone fields. Each of these fields consists of two tongues that reproduce the same note across two octaves, creating a full, floating soundscape. Tuned to 432 Hz in F Major (F3, G3, A3, B3, C4, D4, E4, F4, G4), the drum produces an especially harmonious note sequence that naturally flows into melodies.
