MERIDA Procnias: Noble Wood Construction Meets Ergonomics

The most striking feature of the Procnias is the use of solid African Redwood for back and sides combined with a solid spruce top. This solid construction creates a warm, sustain-rich sound with quick response. A special highlight is the flamed maple neck, which is not only extremely stable but also gives the guitar a luxurious appearance typically found only on custom handcrafted instruments.

Maximum Comfort Through Armrest and Short Scale

Merida placed great emphasis on playability with this model. The integrated armrest on the upper bout prevents the edge of the guitar from pressing uncomfortably into the forearm – ideal for extended practice sessions. Thanks to the shortened 596 mm scale length, string tension is lower, which noticeably eases fretting and bending and makes the guitar extremely attractive for players with smaller hands.
