Dreadnought power meets the exotic looks of Brazilian rosewood

The Martin D-X2E from the reimagined X Series is built for guitarists who want the big, powerful Martin dreadnought sound without compromising on playability. HPL back and sides in a Brazilian rosewood pattern give the guitar a classic Martin look while keeping it durable and easy to care for.

Solid spruce top meets thoughtful playability upgrades

The satin, hand-rubbed solid spruce top with scalloped X-bracing delivers the dynamic, powerful attack Martin dreadnoughts are known for. A thinner fingerboard with a gently beveled comfort edge, refined string spacing, and a modernized bridge contour make long playing sessions comfortable, from beginners to seasoned performers.

Stage-ready thanks to Martin E-1 electronics

With built-in Martin E-1 electronics including a chromatic tuner plus volume, tone, and phase controls, the D-X2E is always ready to plug in and play, on stage or in the studio.

Your benefits at a glance:

• Powerful dreadnought sound: solid spruce top with scalloped X-bracing for strong bass and projection.
• Elegant, durable looks: HPL back and sides in a Brazilian rosewood pattern, low-maintenance and long-lasting.
• Comfortable playing feel: thinner fingerboard with beveled comfort edge and refined string spacing.
