The Yamaha SLG200S NT is a steel-string silent guitar that combines authentic acoustic guitar feel with an exceptionally quiet design. Compact frame, genuine playing feel

The open frame in rosewood and maple, combined with a partially solid top, cuts the volume by up to 80% compared with a conventional acoustic guitar – no resonating body, yet full tone through headphones or line output. A mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and a 43 mm nut width keep the playing feel true to a real western guitar.

SRT Powered System: acoustic tone through headphones

At the heart of the instrument is the SRT Powered System (Studio Response Technology): the active piezo pickup captures the signal, which the SRT preamp then models to recreate the sound of different microphone positions on a real acoustic guitar. Bass, treble and effect controls (reverb, chorus) plus the SRT Blend control let you shape your sound right on the instrument. A built-in chromatic tuner keeps the guitar ready to play at any time.
