Sound generation draws on richly detailed samples of the Yamaha CFX concert grand and the Bösendorfer Imperial, captured binaurally for a spacious, lifelike sound even through headphones. Virtual Resonance Modeling and the enhanced Grand Expression Modeling recreate the subtle interplay of strings, soundboard and pedals found only in a real grand piano.

GrandTouch keyboard: a grand piano's touch

The 88 keys of the GrandTouch keyboard feature escapement simulation and counterweights, with synthetic ebony and ivory key tops on the white keys. The result is a touch and dynamic response that comes remarkably close to the real thing – from powerful bass to effortlessly light treble.

Fully connected, intuitively controlled

Bluetooth Audio/MIDI wirelessly connects the CLP-875 to the Yamaha Smart Pianist app or your favourite streaming service, while USB to Host/Device allows connection to a computer or storage media. The generous 198 x 100 pixel LCD touch panel guides you intuitively through voices, songs and settings.
