As soon as a classical guitar leaves the practice room, a pickup becomes basic equipment. The GEWA Student Electro-Acoustic in 4/4 size has one fitted from the factory, which makes it usable in music school, ensemble and on small stages without moving into a different price bracket.

Under-saddle piezo with 4-band EQ and built-in tuner

The pickup sits beneath the saddle and takes the string vibration directly. The preamp set into the side lets you shape four frequency bands – enough to match the instrument to the room and the PA. The built-in tuner saves carrying a separate device on stage.

Acoustically the familiar Student

Unplugged it remains the Student you know: spruce top for a clear response, okoumé back and sides, a carbon-reinforced neck against warping. At 650 mm scale and 52 mm nut width it keeps to classical 4/4 dimensions.
