Successor to the award-winning NV10S, it combines an authentic grand piano key action, a groundbreaking soundboard system and the characterful tone of the legendary SK-EX concert grands – for pianists who refuse to compromise.

Millennium III grand action – authentic touch without strings

At the heart of the NV12 is the Millennium III Hybrid grand action, featuring real wooden keys and individually weighted ABS-Carbon hammers – heavier in the bass, lighter in the treble, exactly as on a regulated concert grand. The complete grand piano damper mechanism is integrated despite the absence of strings, and even mechanically affects keyboard touch weight via the sustain pedal. Contactless IHSS sensors capture every playing nuance with maximum precision.

PentaDrive soundboard instead of conventional speakers

Instead of conventional speakers, five strategically positioned transducers channel the sound directly onto a large wooden soundboard – so the tone is generated throughout the entire instrument, just as in an acoustic grand. The SK-EX Rendering sound engine delivers a rich, natural piano tone with 96 voices and 256-note polyphony, driven by 130 watts of amplifier power.
