Roland FP-40 – piano sound through Piano Reality technology

The Piano Reality sound engine reproduces the touch response and tonal character of an acoustic piano in fine detail, from 256-voice polyphony to 305 tones (40 directly on the instrument, 265 via the Roland Piano App). The weighted PHA-4 Standard keyboard with escapement, ivory feel and triple sensor delivers a genuine piano touch, while the dedicated speaker system with speaker box (2 x 12 W) provides a transparent sound with noticeably fuller bass. Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi and USB-C connect the FP-40 to apps such as Piano Sphere and the Roland Piano App.

The Roland KSF-40 was developed specifically for the FP-40 and brings it to standard playing height with a uniform upright look. The KPD-70 three-pedal unit, attached to the stand, adds damper, sostenuto and soft pedal to your piano – for a playing feel like a classic piano. Both parts are matched in black.
